Assembly
Students
- No later than 1:30 p.m., go directly to student line-up area in the Spokane Convention Center. WSU Spokane staff will be in the breezeway to direct you.
- Proceed to the check-in table to receive a name card printed with your name and degree. During the commencement ceremony, you will give this card to the faculty presenter as you come on stage to receive your diploma.
- Line up with others in your degree program. Look for signs posted on the wall for your degree.
- We welcome family and friends of graduates (no tickets required). Doors open to the ball room for seating at 1:30 p.m.
Faculty
- Line up: 1:30 p.m., Spokane Convention Center.
Preparation
- Beginning Monday, March 20: Pick up caps and gowns from the WSU Spokane Bookie, 410 E Spokane Falls Boulevard. Return them to the Bookie in Spokane or Pullman following graduation.
- Guests do not need tickets for the commencement ceremony.
Photographs
- An official photographer will photograph graduates as they receive their diploma cover. These pictures will be available for order by mail.
- Only the official photographers will be allowed near the stage area. Personal pictures of graduates in caps and gowns may be taken before and after the ceremonies.
Commencement Receptions
- ASWSUS cordially invites WSU Spokane graduates and their guests to attend a brunch on Friday morning prior to commencement. More detailed information will be e-mailed to graduates.
- Pharmacy graduates will participate in a graduation brunch and senior awards presentation hosted by their department at the Spokane Convention Center at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2008.
