Barb Chamberlain has been with WSU Spokane since 1998. She holds bachelor’s degrees in English and linguistics from Washington State University, received with honors, and a master’s in public administration from Eastern Washington University. She is currently working toward a PhD in political science from WSU.

Prior to joining WSU Spokane, Chamberlain owned PageWorksInk, an editing and production company; served in the Idaho legislature for four years (1990–1994); and was vice president of Melior Publications and FuturePast: The History Company, a Spokane-based history publishing and consulting firm.
