Enrolling Students

There are two things you need to do, the students need to be in the Blackboard Learning System, and then they need to either enroll themselves into your courses, or you can enroll them yourselves if you so desire.

To get the students into the Blackboard System, see "Getting Started"

To enroll students who are in the system into your course, you can either allow them to self-enroll (see the instructions to students on the Getting Started section), which is the easiest for you, or you can enroll them using the following steps.

  1. Login to Blackboard and enter your course's, click the control panel to the left
  2. Under "User Management" click "Enroll User"
  3. Search for your student, and click the checkbox to the left of them, and click submit

Removing Students from your Course

  1. Login to Blackboard and enter your course's, click the control panel to the left
  2. Under "User Management" click "Remove Users from Course"
  3. Search for your student, and click the checkbox to the left of them, and click submit

Changing a user's privilege for your course

  1. Login to Blackboard and enter your course's, click the control panel to the left
  2. Under "User Management" click "List / Modify Users"
  3. Search for your student, and click the properties button to the right, scroll to the bottom and under, "Role and Availability" change the Role status to Instructor if you want to co-teach with someone, to TA or Course Builder if you want a student to help you manage your course, and click submit
