Q: How do I apply for a position with Washington State University?A: It's easy! Just click here and follow the instructions.
Q: How will I know the status of my application?
A: If you have applied for a faculty or administrative professional
position, you will be notified by the search committee. If you have
applied for a civil service or represented staff position, you can
login and enter your username and password. This enables you to edit
your existing application, apply for new positions without re-entering
information, and obtain the status of positions for which you have applied.

New and Current Employees
Q: I have just been hired. . . what do I do now?
A: Visit HR to complete your employment paperwork. Paperwork must be
completed no later than three days after your start date.
Q: What do I need to bring to HR once I have been hired?
A: Documentation for the I9 Form
(view page three for the list of acceptable documentation) and documentation
with your bank routing and account numbers—typically a voided
check or a blank deposit slip—for payroll direct deposit.
Q: Where do I turn in my Daily Activity Card (time slip for
temporary employees)?
A: All Daily Activity Cards should be submitted to the Budget and
Finance Office in the Academic Center, Room 511.
Q: How do I change my name?
A: Payroll Services processes name changes for all employees. Click

Q: How do I get a new Social Security card?
A: First, you will need to complete the necessary
application form. Next,
you will need to visit the Spokane Social Security Administration office located
at 811 E. Sprague Avenue, Suite A. Remember to bring with you the
appropriate evidence documents described on the form.
Q: How do I change my address?
A: All employees and students can now change their address online! Visit
www.my.wsu.edu—a secure site—and use
your user identification and password to login (the same information you use to
logon to your computer). On the left-hand navigation pane, under myTools,
click the myProfile link. On the right-hand side of your screen, you will
see a box with address and e-mail options. Please contact Spokane HR if you
have any problems—we would be glad to help!
Q: How do I view my training records?
A: You can now manage your registrations and view all of your training records
in one place! The ILT (Instructor Led Training) and the online course
records you have taken since January 1, 2007 are all in your personal
SkillPort account—you will need to use your user identification and
password (the same information you use to logon to your computer) in order to
login to your SkillPort account.
Your training records prior to January 1, 2007 can be accessed through our Archived Training Records—you will login using the e-mail address and password established for the previous system (it may be different than your current user identification and password).
