At the Design Institute, classroom learning and the real world support each other, as students engage in hands-on projects and assist with faculty research—even as they master their own craft.

Unique among design and construction schools in the nation, the Interdisciplinary Design Institute provides a collaborative, professional environment where students from all the design disciplines work closely with faculty and each other to create knowledge that enhances everyday lives.
