Overview

With CAHME accreditation, renowned faculty and a strong, distinguished curriculum, the HPA program offers students outstanding preparation for health policy and health management careers.

What's more, our location in Spokane—a large tertiary medical center—fosters valuable connections with the medical community.

Program distinctions and strengths

  • The only CAHME-accredited program admitted to the WICHE Western Regional Graduate Program. This allows residents of fourteen states to register at resident tuition rates.
  • Full Graduate Membership Status to The Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA).
  • Two-semester sequence of health law courses recommended by the Association of University Programs in Health Administration Task Force on Health Law.
  • Advisory Board of health service professionals who provide practitioner insight and connections for students and faculty.
  • Academic coordinator provides support for students in advising, internships, and career development.

Our 50-semester-hour graduate program is one of only four programs in the fourteen-state western region (excluding California) accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education.
