Financial Aid and Scholarships

Program-Specific Awards

The graduate program in Clinical and Experimental  Exercise Science at WSU Spokane has a limited amount of financial support to offer both incoming and continuing students.  The program currently awards a limited number of half-time GAs each year, which includes a stipend and full-tuition waiver.  Other GA awards with stipend may also be available.  In addition, the following scholarship awards are available to Exercise Science students:

Orville E. and Marion Hudson Johnson Graduate Fellowship in Exercise Science

  • Graduate student in Exercise Science Program
  • Used for educationally related costs
  • 3.0 GPA or higher

Roger C. Wiley Graduate Student Professional Development Award

  • Graduate student in Exercise Science Program
  • Completed 15 hours of graduate work in area of study related to Exercise Science at the time of the award
  • Demonstrated interest in working with different populations (e.g., aging, at-risk, disabled, etc.)
  • If awarded, must obtain membership in a professional organization
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
