Undergraduate
Programs
Efforts toward the development
of the Interdisciplinary Design Institute began in 1987, and the
first group of students from
architecture and interior design at WSU Pullman participated in an
interdisciplinary studio in 1990. Over the years, students
from other disciplines joined.
Today, the Design Institute welcomes
an average class of 75 undergraduate students from architecture,
interior design, and landscape
architecture every fall to study in their fourth and/or fifth years at the
Spokane campus. The
Design Institute takes advantage of its urban
location by exposing students to service
learning and professional practice opportunities
Accreditation
Each of the
programs at the Interdisciplinary Design Institute is fully
accredited by its accrediting organization and is recognized nationally and internationally for excellence in the
preparation of future professionals.
