Collaborative Learning
The Design Institute offers an opportunity for each
of the participating programs to reinforce individual disciplinary
knowledge and skills, while developing interdisciplinary
depth of understanding. This innovative approach advances
knowledge in design and construction while it contributes to the
definition and evolution of the disciplines.
Students develop an enlarged and holistic
understanding of phenomena, events, and objects that shape the
quality of people's lives in the urban environment while working as members of
multi and interdisciplinary teams. These distinctive learning experiences provide the added value that positions
students competitively in a dynamic marketplace.
