BA Application Requirements
Students wishing to certify into the undergraduate Interior Design program must complete a minimum of 45 semester hours including the following six courses: Arch 101,103, ID 101, 102, 201, 203, or transfer equivalents approved by the department.  The successful completion of a portfolio review is required upon completion of ID 203 to become a certified major in Interior Design.  

Transfer students from an approved community college must attend a summer immersion studio and pass a final portfolio review before beginning the fourth year at WSU Spokane.

MA Application Requirements 
Students wishing to pursue the MA graduate program must apply to both the Graduate School and the Department of Interior Design.  

Graduate Application Deadlines
The Master of Arts in Interior Design program only accepts applicants for each fall semester.  The next semester for which we are accepting applications is fall 2008The deadlines are as follows:

  • Priority consideration: January 15
  • Late applications until: May 1

Please note all application materials must be received by the deadline to be considered.  Late applications from domestic students will be considered on a space available basis.  Late applicants are not eligible for graduate assistantships.

BA/MA (4+1) Program
The deadline for receipt of application materials for students applying to the BA/MA (4+1) program is:

  • November 26, 2007
