It is my privilege to welcome you to the Interdisciplinary Design Institute, where faculty, students and staff daily engage in a community of collaborative learning. An Interdisciplinary Design Institute education emphasizes the importance of sustainable and human-centered design, supported by a foundation of outside-the-box creativity and global-scale implications.
Our students hone their skills in a variety of cutting-edge design studios and classrooms. Our graduates go on to rewarding careers in professional practice, research, and academia. Our alumni serve as leaders in a wide array of design professions and nurture our future professionals by attending critiques, offering internships and scholarships, and by helping the Institute stay at the forefront of innovative design.
